MM2 Card

Related Product > MM2 Card

This card works exactly the same as the wafer cards except the chips are external. This is a benefit for people who want to use applications that use chips other than the standard wafer card configurations. This card allows you to make use of software which use 1 PIC and 1 Eeprom. Our ID Multi Programmer or our Gold Mate PC are perfect for programming these cards depending on the chip configuration you use.

These cards come with 1 x 18 pin DIL sockets and 1 x 8 pin sockets soldered on to them so you do not need to do any soldering. This aids the programming as the chips can be easily removed and inserted.

The PIC16F628 based cards are rapidly becoming popular so this would allow you to use such a configuration. We can also supply the cards with chips in the following configuration.

No chips, just plain cards,
1 x PIC 16F84a + 24LC16 Eeprom or
1 x PIC 16F628 + 24LC64 Eeprom
